Odette for Liberty 2008

Odette is a client project for Liberty, taking inspiration from fashion of the 1800s as well as the resurgence of tulle on today's runways. This piece attempts to capture the enduring notion of luxury whereupon layers and layers of precious fabric come together to create a hand-finished masterpiece. Drawing connections between haute couture and Liberty's reputation as a fabric specialist and provider of bespoke services, this project sought to transform high fashion into furniture.
